Verifoxx, a pioneer in privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs), is pleased to announce its progression to the Exploration Stage of the CivTech 10.4 Challenge. This challenge, sponsored by the Chief Data Office, Digital Directorate, Scottish Government, seeks innovative solutions to make data sharing across organizations with separate legal obligations as seamless and easy to manage as possible. Privacy enhancing technologies formed part of the brief for this challenge.
The CivTech programme is a world leading accelerator programme by the Scottish Government that brings together public, private, and third sectors to develop solutions that improve citizens' lives. By advancing to the Exploration Stage, Verifoxx is among the final three companies competing to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for the Scottish Government.
"We are thrilled to be selected for the Exploration Stage of CivTech Challenge 10.4," said Roisin McCarthy, CEO of Verifoxx. "This opportunity allows us to collaborate closely with the Scottish Government to showcase how our privacy enhancing technologies can solve data sharing and data reuse challenges.
The Exploration Stage involves a deep dive into the challenge, working alongside the challenge sponsor to refine the proposed solution. Success in this stage could lead to the development of an MVP, addressing the complexities of data sharing while ensuring compliance with legal obligations and enhancing public good outcomes.
